Here are some answers to questions we think you might have. If your questions aren't answered here feel free to contact us anytime!

1. How long does it take for a typical repair?

Most on-site repairs can be done same-day as long Nerds4Rent stocks the replacement part. Some upgrades or more extensive repairs may take several days and require us to perform the work at our local Wichita shop. In either case, we will provide you an estimate before work begins!

2. Do you offer any type of warranty on your repairs?

All repairs come with a 90-day limited warranty. If the original Nerds4Rent repair fails because of the quality of a part we installed or due to defective workmanship, Nerds4Rent will redo the procedure or install an equivalent part for FREE.

3. Will I lose any information on my device?

Typically, no. In certain cases a hard drive may be physically damaged prior to us receiving it or ransomware may prevent retrieval of, or limit the amount of, data we can recover from a device.

4. Do I need to make an appointment?

Since we are currently an exclusively mobile business, please call us to setup an appointment for us to perform repairs. Off-site or multi-day repairs are conducted in our non-storefront, insured local Wichita shop.

5. Can you fix water damage?

In many cases, yes! It is critical that if your device has been submerged that you do not plug it into a charger and that you remove the battery, SIM card, or other items plugged into the device as quickly as possible. Do not push buttons or use a hair dryer on the device as this may push water further into it. If we are able to repair your device, we still are often able to retrieve and transfer your data to a new device for you.
